Nose Job
The Nose Job is one of the most dramatic cosmetic surgery options available. You can refine the bridge, the tip or the overall profile. It can also relieve breathing difficulties caused through previous injury.
With this procedure you can:
- Reduce the size of the nose (including the hump and the nasal size)
- Straighten the nose (often this is done after an injury or trauma the area)
- Augment the nose by increasing the size in the bridge area.
- Refine the tip of the nose
The majority of rhinoplasties are done internally. This means that the incisions are made inside the nose and there are no external scars. Some are done externally but this is usually for more difficult cases.
After the procedure bruising, nasal blockage and black eyes are common. These don’t last more than one or two weeks. Initial swelling subsides quickly too. It can take up to 6 months before the final result is seen however the outcome is usually striking and well worth the wait.
